An autumn of Shakespeare at the art center

As the music season ends here at Tippet Rise, we begin an autumn of Shakespeare with screenings of performances from the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, England and a live performance by Montana’s own Shakespeare in the Schools. All events will be held in the Olivier Music Barn at Tippet Rise and are open to the public.
The screenings include Romeo and Juliet, at 4:00 pm, this Sunday, September 9, followed by The Merry Wives of Windsor, at 6:00 pm, Friday, October 12.
Between the two film screenings, Montana Shakespeare in the Schools will present a live performance of Julius Caesar on Friday, October 5, at 5:30pm. The performance will be followed by a post-show discussion.
Tickets to the films and the live performance are $10 per seat (free to those 21 and under, but reservations are required) and are available on the Events page of our website. Before each event, our friends from Wild Flower Kitchen will serve light fare and beverages in Will’s Shed, the dining pavilion adjacent to the Olivier Music Barn.
