Description
Our esteemed friends, the internationally acclaimed Calidore String Quartet, will return to perform at Tippet Rise in a program featuring Wynton Marsalis and Brahms. Formed at the Colburn School in 2010, the Calidore String Quartet was awarded the 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant and is currently in residence with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s The Bowers Program. We were also thrilled to feature their moving performance in the film Land & Sky: The Inspiration of Tippet Rise, directed by Hamid Shams, which debuted last year and is now available to stream on our website.
