Gabriel Kahane, voice and electric guitar Dover Quartet

We are thrilled to welcome back to Tippet Rise the Dover Quartet, which The New Yorker called, "the young American string quartet of the moment." And, we are equally thrilled to welcome Gabriel Kahane who makes his Tippet Rise debut with this performance. Gabriel, NPR says, "speaks many musical languages fluently and beautifully." During this recital, he will sing his own composition, Come On All You Ghosts, written for string quartet, voice, and electric guitar. Also on the program are Early to Rise, by the contemporary American composer and pianist Timo Andres, and Antonín Dvořák's Quartet in A-flat Major, Op. 105.
