Tippet Rise on Tour is a virtual three-day festival of 10 short films.

Each day of the festival will begin with a 5:30PM MDT live “backstage” gathering via Zoom, giving artists the opportunity to discuss their performances, followed by the release of the films at 6PM MDT. For more information about and to join the live Zoom discussion, please click here.

The last day of the festival, Sunday, April 18, will feature programs filmed in the Long Island City studio of sculptor Joel Shapiro. The streams begin with the presentation of works commissioned and performed by cellist Arlen Hlusko and composed by Matthias McIntire, Giancarlo Latta, India Gailey, and Ryan Wilmot. American violinist Benjamin Beilman joins cellist virtuoso Gabriel Cabezas in Montgomery’s Duo for Violin and Cello. Beilman closes the festival with a solo performance of Rogerson’s Partita for Violin.
