Watch Ingrid Fliter perform Chopin's songs of the night

Our online events remain available to enjoy at your convenience, including Ingrid Fliter’s beautiful performance of Chopin’s Nocturnes, which first streamed on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
The event revisits an extraordinary evening in 2018 when Ms. Fliter made her Tippet Rise debut, playing Chopin’s gorgeously melodic songs of the night. “There is no questioning Fliter’s innate affinity for Chopin…Fliter realizes her poetic potential most convincingly,” said Gramophone of her 2018 recording, Nocturnes. Ms. Fliter is the only woman, and one of just a handful of pianists, to win the Gilmore Artist Award.
The stream includes an introduction by Tippet Rise Co-Founder, Peter Halstead, and an intermission conversation between Ms. Fliter and Tippet Rise Artistic Advisor, pianist Pedja Muzijevic, from Pedja’s apartment in New York City and Ms. Fliter’s family home in Argentina.
