Recorded in a tractor barn in Colorado’s Vail Valley in December of 2023, co-founder Peter Halstead performed Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 17 in D minor, Op. 31, No. 2, also known as “The Tempest.” For insights on the work as well as an account of the wintry recording session itself, read about it in the booklet below.
