Recorded in the Olivier Music Barn at Tippet Rise in September of 2024, co-founder Peter Halstead performed Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp Minor, Op. 27, No. 2, also known as the “Moonlight Sonata.” For insights on the composition, Beethoven’s life, and a chronicle of the composer’s relationship with his “immortal beloved,” Josephine Brunsvik, read about it in the booklet below.
