Pianist Clayton Stephenson returns to the art center in a dynamic program that takes the audience on an international tour of early 20th century classical music to Russia, Spain, and the United States, bookended by two of the most enduring tunes of the same period – Over the Rainbow and Rhapsody in Blue.

Clayton Stephenson is hailed for “extraordinary narrative and poetic gifts” and interpretations that are “fresh, incisive and characterfully alive” (Gramophone). He is a 2025 Sphinx Medal of Excellence Honoree and a 2024 recipient of the Avery Fischer Career Grant.
