Equally at home at the keyboard or on the podium, Jeffrey Kahane has established an international reputation as a truly versatile artist. For Friday's program, Kahane will play rather than conduct, performing Franz Schubert's Sonata No.18 in G Major D.894, Frédéric Chopin's Sonata No.3 in B minor, Op. 58, Timo Andres' _Heavy Sleep_ and _Works on Paper_ by Kahane's son, the composer, pianist and singer-songwriter, Gabriel Kahane.
