Description

Hailed by England’s Daily Telegraph as “potentially one of the greatest pianists of the 21st century,” Yevgeny Sudbin returns to Tippet Rise for Season Two. Friday evening’s recital includes performances of piano sonatas, études, “poems,” and other works, including Franz Liszt’s Transcendental Étude No.11 in D-flat Major, Nikolai Medtner’s Sonata Tragica in C minor Op. 39, No. 5 from Forgotten Melodies, and one of Alexander Scriabin’s last pieces for piano. We are thrilled to welcome Yevgeny back to Tippet Rise.
