Founded in 2015 in Bozeman, Baroque Music Montana is well-known throughout the region for their engaging presentations of chamber music inspired by history. We are thrilled to welcome several members of the chamber group to Tippet Rise for their concert debut, including founder and baroque violinist Carrie Krause; Nate Helgeson, performing on the dulcian, a predecessor to the modern-day bassoon; and John Lenti, playing the theorbo, a guitar-like instrument. Their performance will feature 17th century music by Italian, German, and Spanish composers intermingled with informative and lively explanations and unique insights into the oldest music of the 2024 season.
