Description
Debuting at Tippet Rise this weekend, South Korean pianist Dasol Kim will pair Beethoven’s final piano sonata, Op. 111, with Schubert’s final piano sonata in B-flat Major, D. 960 for the evening’s program. Known for his “impressive technique and nuanced sensitivity” (Huffington Post), Kim is a sought-after concerto soloist. Of his performance of Schubert’s B-Flat Sonata, one critic wrote, it “was a magnificent reading of one of the pillars of the repertoire.”
