Friday evening’s concert in the Olivier Music Barn features the Tippet Rise debuts of three extraordinary artists: Hungarian pianist Zoltán Fejérvári, who won first prize at the 2017 Concours musical international de Montréal, GRAMMY-nominated violinist Tessa Lark, and violist Dimitri Murrath, recipient of the Avery Fisher Grant. They are joined by the Canadian cellist Arlen Hlusko, who returns to Tippet Rise for the second consecutive year. The group will perform works by Schubert, Beethoven and, with its characteristically dramatic opening, the earliest of Gabriel Fauré’s piano quartets, the Piano Quartet in C Minor, Op. 15.
