Description

Professor of Violin and Viola at Montana State University and the artistic director of the Big Sky Classical Music Festival, Angella Ahn will perform works from a range of composers and periods, from the Baroque to the present day, including J.S. Bach, Vaughan Williams, Kenji Bunch and Mark O’Connor. Ahn is the violinist of the acclaimed Ahn Trio, comprised of Angella and her sisters, hailed by the LA Times as “exacting and exciting musicians.” Ahn also performs with the Montana Chamber Music Society and the Muir Quartet. She has taught often at the Mark O’Connor’s Fiddle camps and has performed with musicians as diverse as Phil Aaberg, Emmylous Harris, and John Prine.
