Description

For the final concert of the 2018 season at Tippet Rise, it is our honor to host an extraordinary ensemble: legendary pianist Anne-Marie McDermott, violinist Aaron Boyd, double bassist Xavier Foley, winner of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2018, and the Calidore String Quartet, also recipients in 2018 of the Avery Fisher grant. They will perform two keyboard concertos by J.S. Bach, No. 5 in F Minor (BWV 1056) and No. 1 in D Minor (BWV 1052), followed by Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D Minor, K.466, arranged by Carl Czerny.
