Our virtual concert series continues!
October 12, 2020
As autumn progresses, our online concert series, Tippet Rise & Friends at Home, continues. It’s our goal to share our performances with everyone, even if you missed them at the time. The sound and the camera work will make you feel like you were there. So even during this difficult time, we can still be together.
Fall and early winter performances include:
• November 12: violinist Vadim Gluzman, cellist Johannes Moser, and pianist Yevgeny Sudbin performing works by Babadjanian and Tchaikovsky.
• December 3: segments of two 2019 performances—one in the Olivier Music Barn, the other beneath the Domo—by the art center’s Artistic Advisor, the pianist Pedja Mužijevic, with violinists Jennifer Frautschi and Benjamin Beilman, violists Ayane Kozasa and Nathan Schram, cellist Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir, bassist Anthony Manzo, and oboist James Austin Smith. They perform works by Bach, Dvořák, Farrin, Haydn, and Telemann.
Each concert will remain available to stream after the date it is released online. Some will feature special intermission content, including conversations with musicians and segments showcasing the art center’s outdoor sculptures, architectural structures, and landscapes. For additional details on the Tippet Rise & Friends at Home online concert series, please visit the Virtual Events page.
“All of us at the art center hope Tippet Rise & Friends at Home becomes your ‘go-to-place’ when you feel like listening to superb music, seeing stunning nature and great sculptures. We hope you enjoy these streams and share them with your family and friends. Nature and the arts are there for everyone,” says our Artistic Advisor, Pedja Mužijevic.
We hope you will join us!
