Sir Stephen Hough and friends - Live at Wigmore Hall

Admired not only as a pianist but also as a composer and writer, the recently knighted Sir Stephen’s talents as a songwriter are celebrated in a programme including a world première jointly commissioned by Wigmore Hall, The 92nd Street Y in New York and Tippet Rise in Montana. The evening’s varied song cycles set verses by Rainer Maria Rilke, Gerard Manley Hopkins, Oscar Wilde and more - including verses by Lady Antonia Fraser.
